Our sustainability
At Tasowheel, sustainability is a core value that guides our operations and decision-making. We focus on minimizing our environmental impact through energy-efficient practices and responsible waste management. Our initiatives encourage employee participation in sustainable actions and foster partnerships that promote ecological responsibility. By integrating sustainability into our business model, we aim to contribute positively to the environment and the communities we serve.
We take corporate social responsibility (CSR) seriously, striving to be a role model within the industry. We are committed to ethical, sustainable, and socially responsible operations, complying with environmental legislation and all applicable regulations. Our priority is protecting the interests of all stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and the communities in which we operate.
Economically, Tasowheel invests significantly in advanced machinery and technology to drive growth and productivity, allocating approximately 10% of our turnover annually. We maintain a strong AAA credit rating and contribute to societal well-being by adhering to Finnish tax legislation. Socially, we prioritize employee well-being and workplace safety, operating ethically and transparently. Environmentally, sustainability is central to all of our actions, and we encourage environmental consciousness among employees. We aim to minimize energy use and waste, continuously improving our recycling, waste sorting, and material reuse processes under the supervision of our management.
UN Sustainable Development Goals
Tasowheel is committed to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in all the operations. These goals are also known as Agenda 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They aim to eliminate poverty and promote sustainable development, taking into account the environment, economy, and people equally. Among the sustainable development goals, particularly goals 3, 8, 12, and 13 are related to Tasowheel’s activities.
