Tasowheel and PAPTECH Partner in Vietnam

Tasowheel is partnering with PAPTECH, expanding its presence in the Vietnamese pulp and paper market.

Founded in 2009, PAPTECH was established to support the development of Vietnam’s pulp and paper industry and strengthen its connection with global technologies and suppliers. The company acts as an agency for machinery, equipment, raw materials, chemicals and spare parts, while also collaborating with research institutes and universities to support research and pilot projects for local mills.

PAPTECH is led by Han, who brings decades of hands-on experience in the pulp and paper industry. He began his career in 1998 and has since worked across production, project engineering and technical management in several major paper companies in Vietnam. His background includes roles in large-scale paper machine projects, tissue production, deinking processes and chemical applications, giving him a broad understanding of both mill operations and development projects.

Today, PAPTECH focuses on serving the paper industry in Vietnam, working closely with mills to support modernization and performance improvements.

Paptech & Tasowheel will support paper mills accross Vietnam

One of the key challenges in the market is strong competition from the other suppliers, particularly in new paper machines and headbox solutions. To address this, PAPTECH is working together with Tasowheel and to introduce upgrade solutions for small and medium-sized paper machines.

The collaboration between Tasowheel and PAPTECH focuses on profile control systems for headboxes. These systems play a critical role in paper quality and machine performance, offering significant potential for upgrades in existing installations.

The business relationship between PAPTECH and Tasowheel began in July 2025, following initial connections through industry networks. Since then, the cooperation has been built around shared goals: delivering reliable technology and strengthening competitiveness in the local market.

Looking ahead, PAPTECH sees strong potential in the partnership. By combining Tasowheel’s technology with local expertise and a network of international partners, the aim is to support Vietnamese mills in upgrading key systems and improving overall performance—while building a long-term, sustainable collaboration.
