Turning daily observations into a 365-day milestone
Tasowheel has reached a significant safety milestone: over 365 days without a single accident resulting in sick leave. This achievement is a collective result of the daily focus on safe working practices across all our operations. Rather than relying on luck, this milestone stems from a proactive culture where every employee takes responsibility for their own safety and that of their colleagues.
Employee-led initiatives have been the driving force behind this progress. Several practical improvements are already in place, such as the installation of motion-sensor lighting in corridors and new pedestrian warning signs near lifting doors. Technical safety has also been enhanced; we added a weight field to our ERP system for safer magnetic lifter use and integrated pallet rack inspections into the safety committee’s regular rounds. While not every suggestion can be implemented exactly as proposed, every observation helps us understand our processes better and identify where we can improve.

The work continues with several projects currently in development based on the initiatives made in 2025. We are preparing to update our workwear to include better high-visibility options and we also continue to evaluate the acquisition of LED spot lights to further improve visibility in key areas. Through regular campaigns and our internal Safety TV—which currently highlights our work on magnetic lifters and motion-sensor lighting—we encourage everyone to keep sharing their ideas. Safe working conditions are not a final destination but a continuous process of refinement and learning.
