AI integrated into our daily work

Most AI projects fail because extensive and heavy projects become detached from employees’ actual needs. At Tasowheel, we’ve found that the successful utilization of AI begins at the grassroots level: by understanding everyday work tasks and adapting solutions to the diverse needs of employees. New AI solutions have brought concrete results in both white-collar and production roles.

“It is nonsense that lacking better tools, people have had to spend most of their working day sifting through emails, conducting continuous investigations, and prioritizing their tasks. With us, AI is not an isolated experiment; its task is, in practice, to solve this problem. AI frees up Tasowheelers to focus on what they do best,” says our CEO Roman Mertechev.

TASO AI is a solution exclusively tailored for Tasowheel and it connects to our key data sources, such as our Microsoft environment. It processes incoming expert communications, identifies essential information for decision-making, and suggests next steps. AI offers users a natural way to solve tasks automatically, in line with our own strict information security requirements. Reliable and efficient support for sales has become particularly significant.

“AI has significantly streamlined sales work and freed up more time to understand customer needs and implement solutions. In my role as a technical salesperson, I perform complex investigative work, utilizing both our own data and, for example, scientific articles. AI is a reliable partner for me, verifying facts, understanding contexts, and providing flawless justifications for complex problems. I provide direction, but AI expands my thinking and works alongside it,” describes Senior Sales Manager Janne Kosola.

Behind our solutions is the domestic technology company Eleiris AI, which has developed the solution with a primary focus on usability. Tami Komssi, co-founder of Eleiris, emphasizes that the starting point for the design was to integrate the solutions into users’ daily work, considering different levels of skill in utilizing AI:

“The true value of AI is only realized when it is strengthened by a unique context. In practice, we have developed a model with which we automatically and securely support AI with the company’s data and communication streams, so that it internalizes the actual operating methods and the logic of the context. When solutions are securely integrated directly into the workflow and data sources, users see the benefits immediately, and trust is built quickly. At that point, AI truly acts as an extension of one’s own work and thinking – and scales naturally as part of the business.”

Our example shows that the most effective way to invest in AI comes through agile, lightweight experiments, allowing the benefits of the solutions to be verified immediately. This approach keeps risks low and results measurable from the outset, without massive IT projects. When AI is concretely integrated into everyday work, it can, at its best, be a natural extension of tools and thinking – and at the same time, a means to increase efficiency, create tangible customer value, and strengthen the competitiveness of the company.
